Fircroft College of Adult Education in Selly Oak, Birmingham offers a wide range of residential short courses, many of which are tailored to meeting the needs of the voluntary and community sector.


Courses include: Report Writing, Successful Fundraising and Bid Writing, Training the Trainer, Developing a Fundraising Plan, Public Speaking and Presentation Skills, Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector, Understanding Budgets and Finance, Minute Taking, Strategic Planning for the Voluntary Sector, Business Planning for the Voluntary Sector, Community Development, First Line Management and Equality & Diversity.  Many courses are FREE of charge, particularly for people claiming certain benefits, and include accommodation, meals and tuition.
